I was told today that you can no longer order a 23', but now a 24'. No pricing available, but the order can be placed. According to this, the 68rfe returns and the wheelbase appears to be the same. View attachment 522108
Maybe you missed it but rail & truck transportation is the problem for getting trucks delivered in a reasonable time frame... I was lucky my truck only sat in the Spokane WA rail yard for 3 weeks before it was released to the transport truck, it also took 6 weeks to get to the Spokane yard once it crossed the border into the US... I have read of others whos truck spend 120+ days at the rail yard before being released for the delivery truck to pick up...I think if people were more adamant about it - like cancelling their orders if the vehicle isn't delivered in a reasonable period of time (say 120 days) - then these dealerships and whoever else is in charge of delivery would be more amenable to getting them their truck before next year's model comes out.
I doubt it's the dealerships fault. If they had a choice of completing a sale qnd getting my money today or six months from now, I bet they would choose todayI think if people were more adamant about it - like cancelling their orders if the vehicle isn't delivered in a reasonable period of time (say 120 days) - then these dealerships and whoever else is in charge of delivery would be more amenable to getting them their truck before next year's model comes out.
Doesn't look like a fun job. Very time consuming, planning for stops, loading and unloading. That is mostly the fault of the trucking companies that pick up vehicles at the Rail Heads.
They don't pay enough keep the drivers
Driving a beer delivery truck pays more & it is no where near as hazardous.
this is not a full size car hauler, but still dangerous
