Connect hot and ground wires to a 2.1mm x 5.5mm male adapter
I redneck shrink wrapped (electrical tape) the control box and attached to the back of the bed pillar with twomsidednautomotive tape
The control box plugs into the LED strip and also,has an IR eye for the remote
This plugs into the 12V control box

This is where the wires come out underneath the bed.
Used this bolt as a good contact point for the ground
I tapped into the hot lead (red and purple wire) going to the trailer plug.
