I use SI-1 at least once before every oil change, but the way I do it is to let the gas tank run down to 1/4, then add 2 15oz bottles at the gas station and then fill the tank. I always use Top Tier ethanol-free 90 octane.
The bottle says the 15oz size will treat 21 gallons, and I have a 26 gallon tank, so 1 bottle would never be full strength.

I could save money on SI-1 by adding to 1/2 tank or so. My concern is the silly uneven shape of my tank. When the gauge shows 1/2 tank it typically takes 15-17 gallons to fill it. That math ain't mathing.

A full tank is always a known 26 gallons so I roll with that. The combination of SI-1, the gas I always use, my oil strategy, all result in a Hemi that is whisper quiet at warm idle and that idle is so smooth I can't tell the engine is running from the driver's seat. Neither can my passengers.

My truck is a 5.7L 2014 with 126,000 miles. Just my anecdotal addition to the pile of experienced results. ;)

This is closer to what I have always done in the past compared to what I am seeing on this thread. Usually put in a bottle around 1/4 tank, ran it to fumes, then filled up from there and called it a day. Seems a lot of what I am reading here, everyone is completely filling their tank after adding a bottle. Seems logical to me, to get more cleaning power, do not fill the tank all the way. It's time for me to to go at this again and I was going to use 1 bottle per 1/4 rank, run it to fumes and repeat the process one more time. I have no idea at this point what's the best route.
I will give 1 bottle per 1/4 tank a try.

@Jimhow4545 That should be equal to (4) 15oz bottles per full tank.
I no longer seem to have it saved but IIRC some brave soul elsewhere
on the internet was checking SI-1 for effectiveness and ran concentrations up to (6) 15oz bottles to a single tank of gas.

Not only did that high concentration do no harm, but the cleaning power kept getting better and more impressive.
Not sure how high I would go, or what you are trying to accomplish?
Are you having issues you want to resolve or are you simply testing?

When I called Redline and chatted with the tech about my plan and fine tuned it talking to him, he said running the 2 bottles with my tank (32gallons/121litres) would be a good strategy and that I would still "be safe". Now we did not discuss the 'be safe' part, it was just in the conversation as we talked. Like I assume too much of a good thing can maybe not be as beneficial? I think everyones approach on here is good, we are all benefitting from the knowledge. For me personally on my plan, I am gonna go the 2 bottles this tank I just did, then 1 bottle next tank. Possibly the same again after that.

I also may stock up on a few bottles. I have had this habit of everytime a voice in my head (1 of the many rolling around in there) tells me I should buy more of a product, not long after the prices go up or the product is backordered of gone. I bought a few of the RP oil filters, figured I should buy more just to have, procrastinated and didn't, then on here guys were talkimg about prices going way up and then no stock.
I have run into things like that many times for different things. So now I take the action of going forward a bit better. I am getting that same feeling I should grab a few extra SI-1 bottles. Like who knows, maybe stock will run low cause of some supply chain horses**t about ingredients. Or price goes up. There is apparently a pretty decent shelf life to it, and I know it works so I will use this product... may grab some for personal stock. Got 3 left on the shelf.

@Buddy Amazon has about the best price I can find and they are showing 11% off for the 4-pack. That makes $0.95 per fluid ounce.
Even the 12-pack is more expensive at $1.01 per fl oz. OK, so 6 cents
per ounce more but it adds up if we are talking about (12) 15oz bottles.
Also, free shipping if you partake of their Prime. This makes it only $5 more than the "wholesale" price of the other reseller listed in this thread, and Amazon is simply shipping for the Red Line store.

So it comes out for me when I click in it at $104.95. Is that what it was when you posted it for me?
I'm at about the same for 17.99/bottle and about $20 shipping. If I got 6 bottles it's $107.94 and $20 shipping.
I am Canadian side, but have bought from US vendors and drive across to pick up, just paid at customs. Usually weigh the US deliveries against here to go the best deal.

Your link hits me to the same place, $104.95. My other speedbump is I never got an amazonian account. I know they are good deals alot of the time... I just don't like the large giant. I rather go towards a mom & pop shop or even a little bigger business than M&P, it just feels like I'm helping a little guy. Yea, I know all mental and makes no difference in the grand scheme. I go into the smaller (less busy) grocery store before Walmart as well. In the end a corporation is getting it all, but in that path my brain thinks I'm helping a little fella more. Lol

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest your ISP is likely redirecting you to Amazon.ca even though Curmudgeon's link is for A dot com.

If you edit the network configuration of your home internet device and set a manual DNS, you likely will not be redirected to the dot ca site.

Many of the Canadian ISPs configure a default DNS server that will redirect to .ca sites whenever available. They know better about what we should be exposed to.

When I click his link, I see the dot com price of $56.98 US.

Lol, now I just clicked on his link again - exact link again, post #266 - and it shows $103.93 now. I have done nothing different. It does show .ca, delivered to postal code. Same as before but just a different price.

My goal is to prevent predetonation under load. Because my car consumes 1 quart of oil every 1k mile and resulting in carbon buildup ion piston top.

Had anyone remove the spark plug and pour one tablespoon of SI directly inside the combustion chamber and then install back the spark plugs and fire up the engine?

I did that, about 2/3 tablespoon of S1, but not conclusive result. I think the key for s1 to work is that the combustion needs constant flow of S1 continuously with heat to melt the carbon buildup.

S1 and high heat are key to melt away the carbon buildup in the combustion chamber.

But we have seen sea foam when applied straight to piston tops a similar result to adding redline to tank. Chris fix only success was sea foam through vac lines, of note he didn't test si-1.
