    Dash size

That’s not what I wanted to hear. Lol. Was hoping it was the dashes fault and not mine that it doesn’t fit right

    Dash size

Long story short, I have a 2011 dash that came from a crew cab truck.(4 full-size doors ) Are all the dashes the same size on 4th gens as far as depth? Can someone measure their regular cab or quad cab dash from the edge where the dash meets the window to the edge over the gauges by the...

    Gauge swap

From what I have read/watched on YouTube, the newer gauges will not work. I saw one guy that used the stock 98 gauges and made them fit neatly with some ABS plastic work, another guy just bought all aftermarket gauges (expensive option). keep us informed on how it goes, wanting to do the swap...

    OEM Radiator Life Expectancy

Mine original 1998 radiator gave up at about 180k. Like most people, I needed a quick replacement and just bought one from Auto Zone. If I had the downtime, I would have ordered an all aluminum radiator.

    No start troubleshooting

Coil would be the best starting point, cheap and easy to replace. If that doesn't fix the issue, the Cam and Crank Sensor are high on the list of suspects. Is the check engine light on?

    $50 REWARD for solution - 97 Laramie 5.9 - DYING

My thoughts are the Crankshaft Position Sensor, I see you already replaced it. What brand did you use? If its from AutoZone or another like store, would recommend you replace it with a Mopar one. Also, as someone mentioned, hook up a fuel pressure tester to it and see if you lose fuel...

2nd gen Ram with 4th gen Dash, PIC HEAVY

I have been considering doing the dash swap as well. Didn't even think about the fuse box. I haven't seen anyone mention it so maybe its not an issue My concerns were the gauges and the AC controls. I think most people had to use the old AC controls, just relocate them and as far as gauges...

    Suspension Parts Purchase Advice

I have a 1998 1500 4x4 5.9. Three parts I need advice on, springs, shocks, coils. I carried a heavy loaded trailer and flattened one of my leaf springs. My truck has a lean to it now. So I am looking to buy new rear leafs. Saw some by Husky on Rock auto. Looks like there are different...

    eBay headers?

I bought some stainless shorty headers from Amazon for around $70, I believe they are about the same as what is available on eBay. I have not installed them yet as I am waiting to complete a rebuild of my spare motor before dropping the whole new assembly in. It may be a while since my current...

What did you do to/with your second gen today?

Replaced my PCV valve and grommet with OEM parts. Found the PCV hose was torn as well, seemed to be discontinued or hard to find a pre-molded one, so went to O'rileys and got a length of 3/8 fuel line for like $2 and replaced old hose.
