It's not broken off I took it off earlier to make sure the door was still attached to the plastic piece and then put it back on and it moves perfectly fine when changing the Temps just diver side never changes.
I can try that tomorrow, I did like acouple months ago do a heater core flush of just plain water some black stuff did come out but I've been seeing other post of some adding some cleaner fluid that they pour in there with a hose and let it sit in the heater core for about 15 mins then flush it...
i was looking into that, but isn't that for the passenger side? the passenger side has no issue going from hot to cold, or w.e the temperature i set it too. the driver side is the one thats cold all the time. it is the 8.4 dual zone ATC.
Thinking what it is, cause I just checked make sure my bend doors weren't broken and they aren't, but I also noticed the air flow isn't strong on the driver side either compared to the passenger side.
So I tried that, I took it off, and it gets held down by the air flow and then firmly held top when it push up I can also hear the door flopping up and down when I move it as well. So I'm assuming the door bend isn't broken
