Harmon 17 speaker system with smaller screen??

Ok, thanks for confirming I'm not crazy :) Do you think it sounds better than the 9 speaker Alpine setup? I wonder what that package actually includes...just the H/K speakers, and no mods to the amp or radio, or ?

Harmon 17 speaker system with smaller screen??

Hi all, I'm looking at a '22 3500 truck which states it has the "Laramie Package B", which includes the 17 speaker H/K system, but just below that it says 8.4 Uconnect. And in the pictures, it's the smaller screen. I've never seen that combination.....every time I see a H/K equipped truck...

What does "Rebel Suspension" mean on a Rebel 2500?

Yup....I figured that out when trying to order a 2500 or 3500. And it seems pretty rare that folks order the rear air suspension at all, which surprises me. It's extremely handy when leveling a heavy trailer.

Traded 1500 Rebel for 2500 Rebel Cummins

Edit: I finally talked to a dealer configuration guy. "Rebel Suspension" is just the Bilstiens...that's all. And yeah, a Rebel 2500 is a baby Powerwagon, basically.

    2025 Ram Rebel Air Suspension

I have the air suspension on my '16 Rebel. ZERO issues, and it's great. I have 107k miles on the truck.

What does "Rebel Suspension" mean on a Rebel 2500?

Good to hear. I have the air suspension on my Rebel 1500, and I think it's great....especially for towing (levels out the truck nicely, even with WDH). I'm curious...what is your payload rating on your 2500 Rebel? (the yellow/white sticker in the drivers door jam).

What does "Rebel Suspension" mean on a Rebel 2500?

Update: I talked to a dealer configuration guy, and "Rebel Suspension" just means offroad shocks. The air suspension is extra.

How much better is a 2500 for towing?

Yeah, that's what I figured. I've got 3.92s in the Rebel, so not a big difference. I'm at 2k+ rpms towing most of the time.

How much better is a 2500 for towing?

What do you folks feel about 4.10 gears? With a Hemi 6.4 3500 SRW? Would the mpg take a big hit? Just curious....found a 3500 SRW with 4.10 gears.

How much better is a 2500 for towing?

Tank is in front of the axles. And I have a bike rack on the back (camper came with a frame welded hitch)

How much better is a 2500 for towing?

No space in the back of this particular camper, otherwise I would have done it.

Good dealer to buy from (anywhere in US)?

I've thought of that. I installed Airlift bags in a previous tow vehicle (FJ Cruiser...much smaller trailer to tow). They worked great and could be inflated with a tiny compact bicycle pump, and the install was pretty easy. But there are a few neat tricks with a factory air suspension...

How much better is a 2500 for towing?

I'm actually considering the 2500 and 3500. I'm looking at used and new.....we'll see. I'm in discussion with multiple dealers to find what I want (or worsecase, order a new truck with the exact options I want).

Mileage- Small Camper and Eco Diesel

Nah, I think you are right about OD/8th gear. I'm thinking about another vehicle I owned with this feature. I'm pretty sure my '16 can hit 8th gear in T/H mode. I do wonder if T/H increases line pressure (ie more fluid circulation). Anyway, I use it when towing.

Good dealer to buy from (anywhere in US)?

Thanks...I'll reach out. And yeah....I've noticed how close some used vs new pricing is. It was similar when we bought the Rebel (used) back in 2018, but I couldn't find a new Rebel with the options I wanted (namely 3.92 rear and extended range fuel tank), and I didn't want to wait on an order.
