Well, "statistically", I'm betting the majority of homeowner insurance policies are "not a good buy" either, and we all come out on the "losing end", dollar-wise. So I bought my '17 1500 new a little over 4 months ago now and have been waiting for the oil change light to kick on... I'm betting a lot of guys out there towing/hauling with their trucks are unaware of their specific limits and how towing, WDHs, etc., affects the payload, etc. Those that are unaware and don't seek out this info are probably the same ones that are more likely not to be...- tbaker65

My transmission seems to run pretty hot anyway... from what I've read here, for the newer 8-speeds, it's "normal" for them to run hotter. I looked at my temp today after some stop-and-go, minor hill climbing, etc. (without towing anything) after a semi-long drive, it was running about 179*, and...- tbaker65
