Adjusted mine today, changed to the Toyo 35" AT, which is not exactly the same as my tire (Nitto 35" AT), but probably close enough, at least closer than stock tire size :). It's the only Flotation size listed, although I suppose I could try 285/65R20 if it is listed. Anyway, I went from being 3 MPH slow on the speedo at 75 to being dead on to 1 MPH fast at 75 based on the GPS. lower speeds were pretty much dead on. :waytogo:

Awesome. Glad it worked out for you. I think this brings a lot of hope to the others wanting to make this change.

Has anybody else lost their rear turn signals after enabling DRL’s?

EDIT: And I have no headlights!
If you disable the DRL option in your customer settings menu do your headlights and blinker lights work correctly then? Like everyone else I'm thinking you possibly inadvertently changed a setting you're not supposed to. I would definitely go back in and double check everything you did.

The headlights are now working, whether DRL is on or off. But still no turn signals.

Hello All,

Have a 2014 Tradesman 2500 that I upgraded to push button start from Auto Tech Electronics. Learned a hard lesson the other day..... that if you leave the FOB in the truck and lock the doors using the switch on the door, you get no warning and the truck will go ahead and lock the doors. Then when you walk away and go to grab your keys out of your pocket and they're not there...well....sh#$&!!!.

Coworker has a loaded 1500 and his truck will not let you lock the doors using the door lock switch, if the FOB is detected in the truck. The doors will unlock and give a warning. My car does this too.

Thinking of buying the scan tool/AlfaOBD combo but was wondering if any of you that have this setup, know if the "don't let the doors lock and give us a warning of the FOB is inside" feature is available?

Thanks,

Dan

Well I just tried the 2 settings mentioned in my prior post (#812). I set both KEYLESS GO and PASSIVE ENTRY. It gave me a screen with the picture of a pushbutton with a message advising to step on the brake and push the button to start upon entering the vehicle with the remote. And just like OEM if you do not put the remote in the vehicle the screen tells you "FOB NOT DETECTED". Once the fob is inside the cab then it will start. So the only change with these 2 settings is the "new" screen telling me to step on the brake and push the button. I did not have that screen previously. There was NO warning chime after shutting down and turning the ignition off, I could lock and close the door and did not get that horn warning and the door lock automatically unlocking on its own which I believe happens in OEM pushbutton trucks.

So if anyone has an idea just what setting is needed please post up.

I printed out the steps and settings of what I wanted to change. After my issues, I went back and changed them all back to original. My headlights are fine, but still no rear turn signals.

I think I’m screwed...

I can’t get it to generate a new config. And the “upload to google drive” has never worked for me. This really sucks.

I was originally able to open it in Word, save it to my tablet, then upload it to google drive. But every time I go to view the file from AlfaOBD, it only opens the original file.

Are you sure you're scrolling all the way down past the previous configs. They stack on top of each other.

Uploading System ID (BCM) Information: Thank you Mpgrimm2
To upload your System ID information (BCM) go to the "Tools" icon in the upper right corner. From there select "Upload to Google Drive", it will ask you to link to Google Drive. Link your Google Drive to Alfa. Select "Upload to Google Drive" and "Upload Faults and Status Log". Then select "Body_Chrysler_Info". Name the file to upload whatever you wish. Done! Now you can go to your Google Drive and read the system info a little easier.

You have followed the above steps?

That’s the thing, I can’t link my google drive for some reason. I emailed the developer and he said he couldn’t duplicate the error I get.

Let me see what I can work out for you. Won't be tonight though unfortunately. Hopefully someone can step in before I get back

You can plug your phone/tablet into your computer and find the logs by navigating to these folders under internal storage.

Android

com.android.AlfaOBD

So, I just did that, and it only shows the original log file from 2018/09/12.

I would save all the logs to your computer.
Delete them off your phone and uninstall and reinstall ALFA. Then try to get a new log

I think that's my next step. I'm going to see if the bluetooth from my desktop will reach my truck. I kinda doubt it...

I downloaded the files to my computer, deleted them off of the tablet, deleted the app and started over. When I compare the two log files, this is the difference I see:

ORIGINAL FILE:
Control-Rear Turn Lamps: No

CURRENT FILE:
Control-Rear Turn Lamps: Yes

They're under "ECU Qualification", line 29.

My log says:

Switch that and I think your problem will hopefully be solved

I'm trying to find it, lol. My eyes are all jacked from scrolling through that so much! I sure wish everything was alphabetical!
