I did mine in my driveway and have never had any issues with it. Its been on there for 2 years.

TBH, if this installer isn't confident with his workmanship to unholy the cab and bed and slide in some pucks then you should probably find another shop.

Have you tried a different set of tires ? you said you didn't have the vibes stock, or even after the Rancho quicklift, then added tires and boom, nothing you did didn't matter after that to stop the vibes.

Also, if you want to make sure the front DS is not the problem, take it off completely, but why would it be if you didn't have the vibes with the Rancho QL and the stock tires.. ?

Also from the Jeep world, how much PSI are you running in your tires, some JK's for example are vibe prone if the tires have too much air, i used to run my 35's at 30PSI, but i know people having to go down to 25psi to keep their Jeeps happy. I'm running my truck at 45PSI with 315/70/17, because that's what Discount tires set them too last week :), but i'll be doing some chalk testing to see where my tires should be.
Tires was the issue . I replaced the KO2s with Nittos . Less than a half inch shorter ( BFG 34.5 to Nitto 34.09, an inch narrower and almost 20lbs lighter per tire. I think one of the biggest things was something I complained about all along the rotten no sidewall 20" wheel with a 10 ply tire on a truck that only requires 4 ply SL standard load tire which is what it came with from Ram.

Ouch, glad you found the issue.

expensive but its finally over . Ive run BFG ATs since the later 70s when they came out till now. All good things come to an end and I hear Michelin is behind it but who knows for sure. Nitto has had a good rep so I will stick with them for a while

I recently changed to the newer Falken Wildpeak AT3. I'm running 35x12.50 R 20 and they ride really nice, have low road noise, actually were decent in snow rain mud (have not tried sand) and obviously dry. They actually still maintain a bit of an aggressive look as well. I actually improved my mpg a bit and imo for about $240 each with a 50k warranty, they are a steal.

I turned a buddy of mine on to them after he went on a road trip with me and he has a similar experience with them.
