I've been on the fence for awhile... want to do it but worried about issues.
Although now that I "work from home" on Thursdays thats a full 9 hour day to work on it each week while I'm signed in and on conf calls... :)

Thread update:

My lights are painted, the switchbacks are in and it will be assembled and shipped back mid week! Also those smoked clearz corners will make a big difference!

If all goes to plan, I fish for salmon this morning and come home to my headlights on the doorstep ready to go on this afternoon.

Sigh. A delivery malfunction happened today. Turns out they were never picked up by the delivery company even though it was scanned and I got a notice that it would be here today.
It will be another week now :’(
I’d say 1 month total time with a week shipping each way.

Thats not too bad. I wish i had a spare set so that i could send mine in lol. I have the switchbacks and clear corners already, i just have to get the balls to put them in the oven lol

I put an ad on Craigslist to buy some (you can sell them after)
I ended up finding a guy who lent me his spares for $50. Pretty sweet deal for me!

Evening has come and it’s cooling down. I went out to dress the tires and there’s some fogging going on the lights. I texted the builder and he said it’s normal for newly done lights to do it until it gets used to the temp changes. He’s going to send me some silica packs too. I hope it sorts itself out. I now have an hid light out too :(
