I was just researching this myself. I saw 275/65/20s on a Ram at the dealership, it was used. I just saw someone else said 285/65/20s will work with no rubbing and that is what I'm about to do on a 2014. If they do rub, either spacers or leveling kit will fix it, but I was told by several they will fit fine. They look sick. I'm going with a different tire than the stock tire.

I have been searching for tires too and would like to gain some sidewall. Everything I find in a 275/65R20 has an E load rating and is pushing $300/ea. and I really don't need, or want to pay for that. Anybody found tires in a 275/65R20 under $250 a tire?

FYI
I don't know if this is standard policy but my local NTB will match Tireracks prices so keep that in mind if you go to one of their shops

Nitto makes the tg g2 now in 275/65/20 4 ply so much less harsh than 10 ply.

This is my truck fitted with 275/65R20's. Stock suspension and absolutely no rubbing.

Would 285/50/20 fit on the stock wheels and not be too short?

i think you start getting into personal preference with some of these sizes, Mac. Me, I hate seeing too much wheel well. Sometimes how aggressive the treat pattern is can make a tire look bigger than it is. a 285/50/20 would be too short for me on my leveled truck. only way i would go that size is stock rake.
