Already did that one lol

Key in - door chime is driving me nuts
I personally never done it or looked into it.
But I figured out the seatbelt chime just by messing around in Alpha. Risky, maybe a little but then again, nobody would know anything about Alpha if we didn't take risks...[emoji23]
I'll keep the door chime in the back of my head and poke around when I have time.

I'm pretty sure that you can get the sensor Id's with alphaobd thru the rf hub. However it will only pull the Id's from where the truck is reading them.

You mean it will only pull them while the truck is reading them(while driving)? I haven't tried looking for it other than while sitting. Even then I cant find where they would be. I found where to put the ID in and which position you want that one. Do you have any other info on where to look for them?

Thanks

I did it back in January. I did it sitting in park. If I remember right all you have to do is connect to the rf hub, go to read system ID and scroll through and you should find something like this

The only thing with this is, your hub is having an issue with the sensor locations, so, you would have to *assume* the ID numbers are actually in the right spot.

Luckily the main problem were the fronts and I knew which ones the hub thought they were, after switching the IDs it is now working like it should. Now I just need to one by one deflate the rears a little to make sure they are in the same spot.

Do I need to pay for a second license if I use a windows computer?
Here is confirmation from one of my viewers.
If you contact Alexey with your problem, you don't have to pay again.

I bought one a year ago strictly to use with alphaobd. It's not as fast as I'd like and is kinda bogged down with Amazon crap but it works

I sent the activation request to Alexey a few hours ago. Just waiting to hear back to see if the laptop trick will work for me.

Let me know if it works. If so I'll have to find someone with a windows laptop to help me out since all I have is Macs.

With the Fire 7, you can side load Google PlayStore on it and then gut or disable most of the Amazon stuff running on the tablet.
I have a Fire 7 that I run the Torque Pro app on it for engine parameter monitoring, don't notice any difference from running it on my phone. The 1Gb ram shouldn't be a problem for AlfaOBD

Activation code worked great! The process, eh not so much. It connects to the OBD and everything but when I try to change hours it shows the option is set to zero opposed to what is showed currently on the premium evic. The evic resets but alfaobd never changes from starting procedure after following the instructions on screen.
