Was having a distortion sound from my pass front speaker so I decided to upgrade both front speakers.

Removed speakers and noticed I needed the Metro adapter. Drove to Best Buy with the radio on and sound coming from rear speakers.

Got home, installed adapters and speakers and turned on radio. No sound from front speakers. Tried pulling amp fuse, locking/unlocking vehicle. No dice.

Anyone ever had this happen before? I assume it disabled the front speakers because it didn't see them on the drive to Best Buy. Now I need to figure out how to get it to see the new ones.

Thanks.

Well solved my own problem. Decided since the reboot procedure wasn't working that I would pull the battery cable. Boom, that fixed it. Keeping the posting up for others in the future...

I think he was saying he was upgrading his speakers to correct the distortion issue.
