My issue started when driving down the road, all of my dashboard lights went crazy. I turned my truck off and couldn’t restart it. I disconnected the battery for a minute and everything was back to normal. The next day I used my remote start and it was doing the same thing. Dashboard lights going crazy and my truck wouldn’t start. Later on in the day, it had a minor rough start then died about 3 seconds later. Dashboard still flickering and going crazy. I had these codes when I checked 2 days ago:
U 110C lost fuel level
U 1110 lost wheel speed message
U 1120 lost wheel distance message
U 1403 implausible fuel level
U 110E lost ambient temperature
U 0400 faulty ECM

Now the only code I get is:
P2127 throttle pedal position sensor.
And the check engine light is on and the red **)lightning bolt(**
It starts completely fine now but consistently that code and check engine light and lightning bolt.
I have a new battery (less than 6 months old).
Any suggestions? Thank you!

Have you had your alternator checked?

With all of the glitching, I would have that tested. I know they can really cause some weird electrical glitches.

I don’t have any other symptoms of a bad alternator. It physically looks good and no odd sounds coming from it

He only recent change I’ve done is change out my HID headlights to LED’s but that was about a week and a half ago.

Im not saying that is what it is, but it wouldn't hurt to check it. I hope you get it figured out. Today is kind of a slow day, but hopefully some others will chime in.

Im still on my original alternator, but suspect it wont be long and it will go. How many miles are on your Ram?

I’ll test it here in a couple hours. I have 73,000 miles on it

As mentioned above. alternator, battery, short in harness, poor ground, or ECU is failing.
Get meter and start testing all wires, visual as well. make sure ground wires aren't damaged.
I'd start at the alternator cables.
Worse case, bring it dealer or auto shop.

May i suggest that
P2127 throttle pedal position sensor. Is the cause for the lightning bolt

Anytime that i read something like
HID headlights to LED’s but that was about a week and a half ago.

I almost cringe, not at the light factor, but because of the CanBus factor

If you have an Auto Electric Shop near you, they usually know their stuff & have the correct testing equipment

I’d bet you have a bad battery and/or loose and/or dirty battery terminal connects and battery terminal posts.

It doesn’t matter if your battery is only six months old - this a classic sign of a bad cell in the battery.

Check the main connector on the drivers side of the frame for corrosion. GM, Ford and Ram are all ******** morons and put a major connector directly in the path of the drivers front wheel spray.

As mentioned the battery would be the 1st thing to check. Also the throttle code, do you have a Pedal Commander on your truck? They've been known to throw throttle codes but not all the others you got.

@indept I do not believe I have a pedal commander on my truck, I’m also not sure what that is but I got another code relating to the pedal/throttle sensor: P2122 ( low voltage throttle sensor) I’m going to take the battery back tomorrow and get it tested for a bad cell, possibly get a new one.

What did battery test find. Honestly, I would buy a new battery regardless to be 100% sure that is not the problem, and take ground wire off frame and clean connection as well as the battery terminals with Emory cloth and tighten everything up. Lastly, and before connecting battery, put your original lights back. Go back to the point everything was good and see if you still have a problem, if nothing else you will eliminate potential trouble points. Good luck.

Check the link. If there was one it would be connected to the gas pedal wiring under the dash.
