I ordered a 3500 2/5/2022. Just wondering if I'll see it this year?

Wish I would've read the forum before I ordered. Then from reading all these post, I'm realizing I messed up ordering almost every option. Especially the sunroof. I didn't ordered Night Edition package because i usually remove all the emblems anyways.
Although, my salesman was pretty up front about the wait time. He said 4 months. Now from reading all this, I'm thinking end of the year if I'm lucky.

Time line I am hearing is more like 14-16 weeks. Maybe 12 if you ordered a Tradesman. Don't beat yourself up over it. The whole reason you ordered is so you can get everything you want. Your dealer should be able to tell you when it goes into D1 status & then tell you when it is being built. After that I am hearing it's at least another 2 weeks for shipping. I ordered mine 1/31/22 and was just put into D1 Status last week. I would imagine they will be building it in the next week or two.

Contact Ramchat with you VIN for status on your build. As far as when it will be done? That crystal ball is going to be you best bet, really depends on the options etc.

It really is a mind boggling thing to try and figure out. I ordered a 2500 Laramie with Night edition and Hemi a week before with Christmas 2021. It has been built and passed QC inspections since March 5th of this year. So that part only took 77 days (11 weeks). It is not a heavily option truck; being that I did not get any of the towing or safety tech groups. No sunroof. I did however get the cargo camera and the digital rear view mirror with camera, and I got power running boards. Otherwise, rather plain compared to some. Still waiting on a train ride from Mexico to Louisiana.

It was estimated 16-20 weeks for final delivery when I ordered it.
Dec 18 + 20 weeks = May 7th. So that is still possible. It could be delivered before then.

What's mind boggling is to see other's orders with all the tech groups and 5th wheel prep and sunroofs and literally EVERYTHING possible to click get built in a month, then delivered in less than a month after that. Nobody can figure it out. Especially frustrating if your truck is sitting there, ordered since December, then someone who ordered mid January has been driving around in their new heavier optioned truck since last week. I get a lot of this info from HDrams.com

Even though I still don't have my truck, I'm not out of the estimated time frame, and I keep telling myself once I get, I willl have it for good. All this waiting will be over soon.

Things haven't changed much since my 20 model build. It was built in no time flat then sat in a storage lot waiting inspection for 2.5 months. The 1 good thing about it was I convinced myself that I didn't mind waiting the extra time since it was pulled for any extra inspection process by qc, id rather wait and have it arrive correct and without issue.
Ps: ask my buddy brutal when is he going to allow me (Rich) back on the hdrams forum? Its been 2 years now and i think I've learned my lesson. That was my favorite group of folks and platform hands down. Maybe you can pull some strings for me to get me a second chance. He'll know who I am.

The cummins is taking a bit but at the end of the day you ordered what you want. If you didn't order what you want because you thought it might take longer then you shouldn't have ordered. A co worker just got a laramie cummins with similar options and his took 6 months.

I ordered a 2022 3500 Tradesman Dually HO diesel on March 17th, I had my VIN on the 21st. Now it's just the waiting game. My salesman said to expect 4 months.

Reach out to your dealer. The Sales manager was excellent at sending emails about our 2021 2500HD.

Wow - this and other folks waiting long times I don’t get the reason but also demand they show you the order. Did they really order it? I have a friend who ordered a luxury car (a different brand) and their dealer keeps playing games. My ram dealer showed me the status of my truck. Ordered Feb 28, well optioned. D1 status last week and ship date of 5/5. Fingers crossed also but I feel mine is moving fairly fast. And I ordered all of the scary delay things except the sunroof.

Thank you. We phone twice a month, the dealer says they cannot provide us with anything. Just says that order went in Sept 13, 2021. We are in Ontario
Canada and therefore are not issued VIN. I have reached out to Ram Canada, they cannot help. I have reached out to Stellantis North America
no help from them either. I am wondering if it is because we are Canadian? I see orders from before and months after our order on the HD Ram Tracker
page that have been delivered and these are all trucks going to dealers in the United States. So so frustrating.

I ordered a 3500 2/5/2022. Just wondering if I'll see it this year?
