What is the largest tire size for a 1500 that will not affect my gas mileage?
What's MPG ..... sMiles Per Gallon .... D U H !!!!Don’t mind them…… I’ve got 35 x 12.5 and don’t notice any difference in mpg. Actually contemplating going to 35 x 13.5 . A few on here are running 37’s.
Btw…… what’s mpg?
Dude, you bought a truck
Also……. Welcome to the Forum
Exactly, enjoy your truck, trucks were not meant to give you high MPG only Smiles Per GAllon!!!The second you go up in size and weight you go down in MPG but it is a truck, go for the gusto
Socal I couldn't of said it bettah' mahself!!!!It’s all about the smiles per miles…….
For kicks and grinds:
let’s say that by having a modded Ram, that the end result is that Mpg drops 1/2. Instead of 20 (hypothetically) your now at 10 mpg. Over the course of a year you drove 7,000 miles. The difference in gas expense literally works out to be the cost of a Starbucks latte and tip per day…. and that’s with the insane prices now.
For kicks and grinds, while we are at it…… which would you rather be in during an accident? A Ram, or a Prius? I have a feeling that the money you saved with fuel economy will be sucked right up with your medical expenses.
And as mentioned…… when’s the last time you saw someone grinding from ear to ear in an economy car?
Just my perspective
