I'm looking for rear mud flaps. A few months ago I towed a Uhaul trailer from FL to PA and left a few dents in it from road debris. On December 1st I'm going to be towing a flat bed car hauler with my mothwrs van from PA to FL. And I don't want to risk damaging the van.
Any recommendations on where to get a set as well as brands is appreciated.

I ended up getting the factory molded version for front and back. They fit great and looked like they should have been there. And they werent a lot of money thru the online mopar parts places.

I tow a 30 ft Toy Hauler and to protect the front from road debris I installed Dura Flap extra length. They are not cheap but they work. They are "No drill" so you can remove them. Call them for info the Lady who answered the phone was most helpful...Duraflaps 4 New.jpg

Even with mudflaps you'll still kick up stuff onto the trailer. Pulled an enclosed trailer out of a muddy field and still had mud up the front of the trailer with HuskyLiner molded mud flaps. The DuraFlaps might do a better job, hard to say.
There is also mud flaps that mount via the trailer receiver, they're intended to keep stuff from hitting the trailer.

I did the Husky Mud Guards, they aren't the biggest but it knocked down the thrown rocks pretty significantly when towing the camper on forest roads.

This is the best shot I have right now of the rear coverage.

fi going to keep it on the truck. Husky's.
Cleaner adn look nice. If goign with any molded flap, get soem clear 3m tape so you can protect your paint form flap rub.
Husky's are more pliable than OEM, reason I went with them.

My Preference would be Duraflaps or gatorbacks or even OEM heavy Duty flaps but the OEM onnes are backordered Can get fronts but no rears. Parts mgr told me he doubts he will see any until next year. Fronts were 14 month backroder so he got all he could.

NO offense to the guys with them but I really do not liek teh looks of teh long wide rubber midflaps on the style of truck. WOudl still get the OEM ones, if I could but not as much a fan as teh husky's. They look nice.

DuraFlaps. You can get standard length & width, extra length, extra width, or even custom made. They are heavy duty material. And the no-drill models are easy to install. I also used paint protection tape between mine and the fender lip/edge. The company is great to work with if you have any questions. Also made in the US.

In my instance, got weather tech molded flaps, basically same as Husky's. Front and rears for truck

I pull an 8x20 enclosed trailer down a lot of gravel roads. I got diamond plate up 4' on the front of the trailer when I ordered it, and glad I did. It's getting beat up. So on my new truck, I wanted mudflaps with better coverage. I got the Rokblockz in the XL size. They look good for coverage, but I have not hauled the trailer with it yet, so time will tell.

Got Husky plain old mud flaps from Amazon. Nothing fancy. Fit was pretty good and look good too. Sever their purpose.

I have Weathertec flaps front and back as well as on the front of the rear wheel wells. They help but it still throws a lot of rocks.

Only way to truly protect the trailer is a hitch skirt. There are solid versions of this too.

I was deciding between the Husky and Weathertech mud flaps. The Husky look nicer with their sleeker rounded bottom design, but the Weathertech with the squared off designed seems to give just a little more coverage. I went with the Weathertech.20220217_132354.jpg

FYI If you have OEM running boards and maybe a few others the Molded Flaps on the front will not fit as they hit the front plastic cap of the board, You may be able to mod them to fit.
I went with the OEM Rubber Flaps as the plastic ones did not fit !
The plastic flaps do look great if you can use them,

After some consideration I went with a set of Husky weighted mud flaps. I got them bolted on today and will post up a photo tomorrow.
