2020 2500 119,000 miles and the DPF full came on. I realized I should not have been using it as a 2 mile trip to the ice cream shop truck.
I saw the swap post from darrellthomas but I am wondering if anyone has successfully cleaned the DPF without cutting it open. I have 4 vehicles and this one I do not really drive often anymore so I was debating filling it up with a chemical cleaner and leaving it for a day or two and flushing it out and then letting it dry for a week before installing. Not sure if anyone has tried, I want to get the code cleared and the DPF cleaned. Worst case replace the DPF with a new one and then sell this truck as I do not use it as intended enough to justify a paid off truck just sitting.
Edit: considered the deletes as even though I am stationed outside of WA I keep my vehicles registered and no emissions however I do NOT want to risk fines in the future so although I have friends suggesting a delete I do not want to go that route.
