Dittos to mtnrider! Just put it in Tow/Haul and let the engine do the work. Watch the coolant and tranny temp going up long steep grades as you would in any other truck. Enjoy the ride, the 6.4 is a beast!
Try this, Get a cardboard box from a washing machine or a refrigerator and put it in the middle of a parking lot. Get a running start from about 50 yards away, at about 20 miles an hour. See if it fires off then.
Usually only warns you if your about to collide with something. I think it uses closing speed and distance to determine when to function. I also believe it does not function below 10 mph. But I could be full of sh**, too.
The heated seat comes on at 40* F on the Ram and Her Jeep. If it's not below 30 degrees outside, she turns off the seat heater... and you want it at 60? o_O
It has become second nature to use the max gear lever whenever I put the truck into drive. When in Tow/Haul mode MDS is also defeated. I run the MDS for a few miles once a month to keep it working.
