8 speed questions

Does anybody know when I should change the trans fluid on my '19 2500 tradesmen with the 6.4? I tow a 6500lb camper thru Ohio hills. 28K miles on the clock so far. Dealer says it's lifetime oil. Not sure I agree with that.

The manufacturer of the trans says 60,000 miles for heavy use and maybe 80,000 for "normal" use.
I had mine done at 92,000. No heavy use.

The OEM pan and filter are an assembly.

There's some aftermarket pans available that have a separate filter and oversized capacity.

I'm probably going to change mine around the 30k mark. Shifting is a bit clunky sometimes so hopefully that will smooth it out.
