    Tailgate stuck

Isn't there an access panel on the inside of the tailgate, take the screws out and open it up and you can more than likely find a way to unlock it.

    Dreaded tailgate meets trailer jack

Your truck is a classic by the looks of it, meaning it's actually a 4th gen and does in fact have a steel tailgate. Your dealer buddy forgot to ask you if it was 4th (classic) or 5th gen (both have been sold at the same time since 2019). And I believe all HD trucks both 4th and 5th gen have...

Luke warm driver side, hot passenger side

Definitely heater core, had the same thing happen last year. Flush it both ways, fill it up with CLR (calcium lime rust remover), let it sit for half an hour and flush with water again. make sure your using distilled water and bleed the system after you put it back together.

Will 15" wheels fit the rear?

17" is the smallest you can go.

    Lower Control Arms

Assuming you have a 4x4, that wouldn't be possible because the cv shaft would be in the way of removing the lower ball joint. It's really not much extra work at all to remove the knuckle. Good time to do wheel bearings too depending how old yours are.

    Headlight upgrade

So you're saying you have projectors? In which case no fahrens won't be the best, you need HIDs. There are lots of threads and recommendations out there if you search around. Fahrens are for reflector lenses.

Wanting to install oem trailer brake controller, don't have the connectors

Wanting to install the oem integrated trailer brake controller on my 2009 1500, but I don't have the 2 connectors taped to the harness that are supposed to go to the controller. Instead I have a large blue 4 prong connector and a smaller green one stuffed behind it. What do I need to do to make...

Ordering Falken Wildpeak A/T3W's, P or LT?

If your going to be towing near 5k lbs definitely get LT. Even if not towing a tougher tire is never a bad thing.

6112 Setting? Do they settle and lose lift?

Be careful, this forum will talk you into spending 2 grand in no time lol. I'd just go with the 1.9 setting. Rear suspension can always be done later if you decide to do that at some point.

Removed dash, reinstalled and now the only issue is the brakes lights stay on.....

It is definitely your brake switch. Order and install a new one, real easy to do. I had the exact same thing happen after I pulled my dash.

Towing mirror install - auxilliary wire for running lights

Pretty hard to follow what you're saying without pictures.

    Loose connectors Under Dash

I need to add this to my 09 at some point, where are you guys getting the kits? I already have alfaobd.

    Projector headlight compatibility

If you already have the lights just put them in and see what happens.

    Tow mirrors

Find the pin diagrams for your truck (you can use this site http://connectors.dcctools.com/home.htm) and use that to determine which pin on the mirror connector is for the signal lights. Then cut that wire on the mirror side of the connector and run your wire to that. You only need a positive...

    Warlock wheels and tires

Yep with bilsteins you are replacing the factory strut which is the means of the 1” lift. So you will actually net about 1” less then whatever you set the bilsteins at. I’d be setting them at 2.8 and get a good set of angle correcting UCAs like JBA.

    Tow mirrors

You need to activate the feature in the bcm, either using Alfaobd or have the dealer do it. There’s plenty of info about Alfaobd if you search it up on here, cost about $150 or less to set up with the app and an OBDlink MX+ and you can do endless amounts of stuff with it. The OBDlink MX+...

    Coolant flush at dealer

Ya’ll are complicating this way too much lol. He’s got HOAT in his truck now and that’s all that matters. Buy a gallon of HOAT to top off as necessary and move on. Simple

    Coolant flush at dealer

When I priced concentrate a while back Amazon was cheaper anyways, might vary depending on dealer and also changing prices. To the OP, 2013 was the year they switched from HOAT to OAT, with your truck being a 2013 model year built in 2012 I’ll bet the just screwed up. You’ll be just fine with...

    Coolant flush at dealer

What your truck originally came with isn’t as important as what’s in it, the most important thing is to not mix coolants. If the dealer put HOAT in, go on Amazon and get a gallon of Mopar HOAT, premixed or concentrate whatever your preference is. It’s about $20-30 shipped, cheaper then the dealer

Anyone installed a electric brake controller for towing on their 1500?

Anyone know if 09-12 1500s even had an OEM brake controller as an option? Can’t find anything on it so I’m guessing not.

    leveling

Leveling improves ground clearance to some degree, that much is fact. Whether or not it’s enough to be worthwhile is the owners call. As for approach angle, did it ever occur to you some of us actually use our trucks lol. I’ve found the stock bumper to have a pitiful approach angle off roading...

    leveling

$free.99 to cut them lol. But only a handful of people reverse level anyways, lifting the front to level it is much more practical as it improves clearance and the awful approach angle.

    leveling

If you wanted to reverse level a truck, cutting a coil off is cheaper then sand bags

    New to the Lifted Life

You may just want to throw a set of stock replacement links on at least for the time being, won’t cost you any more then $40. May not even be a direct result of the lift, recently saw one go out on a stock 2016 with just under 100k. Clunking/clanking on ever turn and bump.
