    Thanks all. I was about to add some... I drove 20 minutes to my VFW post and shut it down for about an hour. Then started and drove the 20 minutes home. Mostly up hill but not driving hard. I’ll leave the trans fluid alone and check it next time it’s definitely hot.

    Thank you for the replies. I bought the Mopar oil and fuel filters on Amazon, plus the filter plug and 28mm socket. I also watched a number of videos. I am going with Rotella T6 15W40 as it will probably on get changed once a year as I usually only put about 5-6000 mile a year on the truck.

    I just found a 2013 2500 SLT with 88,000 miles for $31,000. I've been trying to find trucks with lower mileage than this. What's too high for miles and what do you think about the price? I know the cummins motor can go like 400,000 miles. Its the rest of the truck that I'm worried about.
