More than likely if yours is going away after warm up it’s just due to the cold start causing the injectors to make the ticking noise like I said it’s a common noise a simple upgrade to the injectors would probably get rid of the noise I still haven’t gotten to test the theory with the injectors...
Trust me it’s a common noise these trucks make when mine was in the dealer getting my new 3200 stall torque converter put on I had a 2017 loaner truck with less than a 1000 miles on it that made the tick

The knock is honestly a common issue on these rams have you gotten the manifold bolts checked? I guarantee one is probably snapped causing a leak.

No I don’t luckily for me I live an hour away from Jays shop so when I get the money I’ll just have them do the install

Water Meth also substantially lowers combustion temperatures which keeps oil temps and coolant temps down yes it may not clean the crank or help with evaporation but ideal temps are between 180 and 210. I prefer the lower temps as the Engine will last way longer under boost than at oil temps of...
I will keep ya updated hopefully I have the time tomorrow to fully install my procharger can’t wait for this thing to be boosted

Pyrimad yours is definitely an exhaust leak or like mine the fuel injectors engaging. If it’s not an exhaust leak it’s just the injectors tomorrow I find out if the noise goes away after putting in 39 ib injectors for my procharger install.

That’s the Hemi tick most end up doing it after a time of heating the header bolts and then they cool down quickly after killing the engine mine did it until I put longtubes on and found a broken header bolt. If you replace them do not go with oem bolts buy upgraded ones that won’t break.

I Have JBA long tubes into a magnaflow y pipe no cats into a single in dual pit straight through Borla muffler all pipe is 3 inch exhaust but the shop annoyingly out resonators right before my 5 inch tips so at idle it’s pretty quiet but when you get on it, it sounds great love the borla muffler...
I agree with the post above about the clutch fan. If you have a tuner you can tune the E fan to kick on at a lower temp I deleted my clutch fan entirely and only run the E fan truck doesn’t see temps above 185 now.

I'm confused by what you mean making the switch to synthetic. My dealer for every oil change uses a Mobil 1 Synthetic 5w20 for all the 116k miles ive put on the truck but I am switching to either Royal Purple 5w20 or Amsoil 5w20 racing oil due to the procharger going on the truck.
Hey guys i just bought a procharger for my 2014 ram 1500 and was wondering what 2 BAR map sensor I could use as a direct replacement for the factory one!
