I have a 2003 Hemi with 202,000 miles. The oil pressure has started dropping to 0 when warmed up and at idle. It goes back up when the engine rpm's go up when I take off from a stop. I'm thinking either the oil pump is going out, or the bearings are worn. Anything else to consider?
I'm rebuilding a 2005 Hemi for my truck. The donor engine had dropped a valve seat. I know these engines are prone to this if they are ran hit. What years had this issue? I was going to switch it to Eagle heads to get around it and add some power. But I'm wondering if there are other years that...
You will need to add in a new bank of oxygen sensors, Upstream and Downstream. Add wiring from the new sensors all the way to the computer location and pin it to the connectors. You will add 6 new pins, and two wires will splice onto existing wires for a return signal.
O2 sensors-
05 sensor...
Looks like it's EGR and O2 codes, based on a quick Google search. Did you switch your Bank 1 O2 sensors to the other side, and add in the second set for the 05 PCM?
Thanks. Yeah, I used that stuff on the frame when the bed was off. It looked nice for a couple years, but it has started to show rust through it now. I'm thinking of taking it and having it professionally undercoated. I treated it with that rust converter stuff, and then undercoated it myself...
For the past 2 years, I've been working on getting rid of the rust on my truck. It's been a lot of work, and a long process. Here are some before, during, and after pictures. It's not perfect, but it's better than being all rusted out.
My wheels are nasty. They are just the 17" chrome clad steel stock wheels. The front wheels are black. They will not clean up. I've tried everything from rim cleaner to brake cleaner, and they are still black. I have a chance to pick up some 20" wheels off of a 2013 for about $100. Is anyone...
I could. Problem is they cut it where the red line is in the picture. Without those goofy bends, it is putting everything at an odd angle and it is even breaking the muffler where the pipe comes in.
So, when I bought my truck, someone had cut the exhaust off at the catalytic converter. I managed to piece it together, but it isn't right. It keeps coming loose at the connections. It is just clamped. I want to replace the catalytic converter and do the exhaust right. Does anyone know of a...
I'm confused, or missing something then. Based on the images attached at the beginning there are several TCM pins not accounted for.
2 #6 pins for RPM signal and Crankshaft position sensor.
Pin 8 - fused ignition switch output
Pin10 - TMR
Pin 11 - Fused ignition switch output
2 #12 pins for...
Dumb question. There seems to be a few pin numbers from the 2003 TCM that are not accounted for in the 2005 plugs. Do those just stay connected to the TCM?
Oddly enough, I just found one of their write-ups about it. Lol. I'm not afraid of hacking up my wiring harness. I just want to make sure I have a plan before I begin. Lol.
I've searched all over, and can't find what I'm looking for. Does anyone have any more information on swapping a 2005 PCM into a 2003? None of the "write-ups" I've seen on it actually tells you what you need to do. I have the full 2005 wiring harness. I just need to know what pins I need to...
