Ordered the Husky fender liner from Amazon. Looks like it will cover more than the Mopar liners. Waiting on them to get here. Check out YouTube on the husky liner install.
I added 15oz LG to my truck and it made it better and not as noticeable at cold start. Will be trying the 7.5 quartz of oil on next oil change before adding more lubeguard. Took about 1000 miles for it to really take effect.
Been running Nitto RG 285/60/20 on stock wheels with no problems rubbing with the Bilstein set at 1.4 ..I'm looking at getting the Toyo A/T 3 tires in 295/60/20... They are 11.8 wide which is a hair wider than Nittos in 295/60/20...Is or has anyone tried the at3 in that size yet and did they...
No don't have a garage but I will use the whole bottle and see how well it does. Right now it's doing that quick slap clatter and then ticking at initial crank up. Once it has run about 25-30 seconds it's pretty smooth. Just hate hearing that initial tick. 30w is certainly better than the 20w in...
Took me some time to read lots of this but here I am in the same boat as most. Fill you in on my story. Bought the 17 Ram 5.7 new. Run smooth as ever until after the first oil change with the PUP 5/20 Full Syn. Started getting the clicking at start up then goes away. Next oil change went to the...
I don't feel a need for airbags since just towing the boat and the cart. I'm thinking about buying a travel trailer camper and if so I would probably look in to getting the airlift bags for the added tongue weight.
I used to run the Trail Grapplers on my old tundra and found that tire pressure setting I'm using to give me the best even wear after going through two sets of them. By having them a little higher also helps with gas mileage. Even with the Goodyear wranglers that come on the truck I had them set...
It has more to do with the 10 ply tires than the shocks. I run 47 psi in the front tires and 38 in the rear. I have found that setting in the past to be the best for even wear with Nittos on a 20'' wheel.
First of all thank you to the folks on the board sharing all your info to help me with my decision and direction with my truck. Not much info on here for the folks wanting to do the 1.4 setting so I want to share what I did with my truck setup. First off I bought a 2017 Laramie 4x4 December 2017...
Lake Bum I'm fixing to do the same thing on my 17 Laramie. Bils set at 1.4 but staying with stock wheel and adding 285/60/20 tires. From all my studies on this board in the past 6 months no one has had any UCA issues with that setting.
Just purchased the Bilstein 5100 and can't decide if I want to go 1.4 or 2.1 . I like a little rake since I pull my boat and also my buggy on a trailer. Whichever setting I decide to go with will I have to adjust my headlights or will I be able to leave them set at factory setting? Is one...
I have owned a Toyota Tacoma, Tundra, GMC Sierra 1500, Chevy 1500 and now the Ram 1500. The Ram has plenty of leg room and gives you lots of power with better gas mileage than the others. I might add that the ride of the Ram has been the best of all of them. Unless something about this truck...
I purchased my truck Dec.2017. Never heard the tick at all until now since I changed the oil. I went with 5-20 Pennzoil Platinum. At 14,000 miles now I will be going to a 5-30 in something other than Pennzoil. It clicks at startup for like 2-3 seconds and gone. Only heard it maybe 3 times since...
In December 2017 my father and I both purchased a new truck. He got a 2018 Laramie Longhorn crew cab 4x4 for $47k. I purchased a Laramie Crew cab 4x4 for 39,500. Both trucks with 3.21 rear. Here in GA.
