Just buy the 2" receiver that curt or other companies sell. The cross bar for hitch is factory installed. Kit is like $70 and is class 3 unit. That's what I did on my '19 express
Use a 1/16 npt tap and a stainless steel plug. Do a 'cheater'. Get tap started 5/6 threads in then grind first 4 threads off tap and finish to depth ( 7-8threads from top) gently not to break tap. Put piece of cotton ball it hole first to keep chips out then take out n perimeter n plug
Not to be an ass but why are you putting car tires on a truck? Lt tires are better but not by much. If you're towing that types of trailers get an D or E rated tire. I put 55k on a set of MasterCraft Mxt tires and other than rotate them they were quiet and great handling. Just put Cxt's on and...
I'm running a pair of 7" pods behind grill on my '12. Combo beam (flood/driving) and get a ton of light. Between those and LEDs it really lites up the road
I've got a '12. Just turned 80k. Oem battery still cranks it easily. Probably have to change it by fall just for peace of mind. Battery in my 01 made it 9years then left me stranded at work

01 quad cab 5.2 off road. Sold it at 295,000 a year and a half ago and I see it on the road once a week still. Trans at 70,000, rear pinion seal popped and lost rear end at 215,000.
That's a common problem w/rotors. Easiest way is to put long bolts (preferably 1/2 or 13mm) with nuts inside of caliper mount then start to tighten them against rotor. Just be prepared for the Bang! When they break loose. I literally tore chuncks out of rotor on a Ford escape w/10lbs...
