I always go back and forth on flares... I think it's because these trucks look good either way... I'd probably go with flares just to protect the rest of the paint from dirt, rock chips etc... can't go wrong looks-wise either way though... I say, go for it..

exactly lol. im so torn. I just haven't seen a regular cab lifted with OEM flares, don't know if they would be "too much"

Perfect reason to be the first! With your's being so lifted, I think I'd give it a go for sure... I'm guessing it'll look awesome...

The 2500 flares for sure, I have a set of bushwacker flares in the garage and really dont know if I want to put them on or not. But I like the 2500 ones a lot.

Maybe I am thinking of the Bushwacker flares but don't flares in general cause issues because it's against the paint leaving a perfect spot to rust everything away behind the flare?

Please correct me if I am wrong on that thought as I think flares would be awesome on a truck but not at the risk of rusting my paint job.

The cool thing about black is you don't necessarily have to get the color matched. Those black texture ones are great bolts on and are better against dings then painted ones. I like flares myself, I say flare it.

I've been on the fence with mine as well. They look good on the Laramie, like they belong. I'm not sure I like them on the sport (mine). I haven't liked the ones I've seen on the sports.

I know theres a seller on ebay (thespoilercompany) that charges $345 for brand new painted factory style flares, might be a cheap option?

Theres also another seller that sells used OEM take offs, for under $400

My dealer wants $485 + tax for OEM fender flares for my '13 Big Horn 1500 painted in Copperhead Pearl. I'm probably going to do it for this price. I just need to find a little extra cash first...lol.
