    Do you drive in 4WD in winter?

    Average winter day, just snowed, driving to work.. slightly slippery out... plows came but the road isn't cleared. .. do you typically drive in 2WD or one of the 4WD options? ..Have you found that the truck slips LESS when in 4WD? ..When do you use 4WD auto vs 4WD. THANKS :gathering:

    Stuck in 4wd low. Help

    I recently had trouble with my 4wd system, had the garage read it out and the told me that it was the transfer case MOTER needed replacing. I did that tried it out yesterday but now my truck is stuck in 4wd low and won't come out of it. (I bought a new switch to now need to try that out still)...

    Transfer Case Popping out of 2WD High into Neutral

    So my 03 3500 cummins 4x4 is popping out of 2WD high and goes into neutral. My question is can I add ATF+4 friction additive to make it not slip? I know I added some to a different truck and it stiffened it up a bit, but I'm wondering if that'll work.

    4WD doesn't seem like its engaged all the way.

    The last couple of times I have had to plow or use 4WD it doesn't seem like its as good as it used to be. I had my son driving it for a minute and the rear wheels were spinning but the front weren't, at least on the drivers side. I have the 5.7L Hemi 2500 SLT with the 4WD Shifter on the floor...
