‘13 5.7 intermittent hard starting

I have a “new to me” 2013 Ram-1500 4x4. 80K miles. I’m having intermittent hard starts with remote start or with key. If you tip in the throttle, it fires up as you’d expect. No fault codes. Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated!

Well two things to start checking.

Fuel and spark.

You can set up a gauge off of the fuel rail if it has a shraeder valve on the end to check pressure in real time. If it is dropping your fuel pump might be on its way out. What quality of fuel are you using?

Easiest thing to do is pull your plugs and go from there. 2013 was a year for copper plugs changed at 30k intervals. At 80k you might be due if proper maintenance wasn't performed.
