First time I've timed the truck with the new torque converter (2600 stall) and aFe intake. Disclaimer, it was COLD out and about 3 degrees when I made this run. So maybe it was cheating a bit but still, by far the best runs I've timed yet by a mile. All launches were made in 4wd with a little load on the converter. Still running 35's but my ST Maxx tires were switched out for AT3 XLT's.

Just to confirm the run I did a pass in the opposite direction and recorded a 6.19. So either way it's much improved over the 6.5x sec runs I was recording prior. I would have attempted more runs but there was so much salt on the road I was honestly concerned about losing traction and spinning off into the woods.

Holy Crap! 6 second 0-60 time with a gas HD truck is crazy fast! Nice work. So, are you worried at all about too much strain on the 4X system? Traction wise, could you pull off that test in 2WD on dry pavement or would the rears start to break loose?

2wd would have just been a spin fest and I would have eventually wound up in the woods. No idea if this is too much strain for the 4wd components, but it's not like I do this every day.

ARH Headers, HF Custom 93 tune, Magnaflow Cat Back, Edge 2600 stall converter, aFe intake, Ported tb. Still on the 4.10 gears until I drive one of the new 8 speed trucks and decide on a long term plan. Whipple never came through with a kit for the 6.4 Ram unfortunately.

Nice time. :waytogo:

I did a 0-60 run this past summer at 6.8 seconds. It was with my stock trans and I was too afraid of breaking stuff so it was a non boosted launch from 0 rpm on my level 2 daily driving tune. Even then it just spun the tires for a second or two. Maybe I will give it a go on level 4 with a boosted launch once I get the head studs installed now that I have a built trans.

I'm sure that will be a monster on level 4. How do you like the trans?

Out of all of those mods which do you feel gave you the most power? Headers & tune?

Loving it. Although the low stall TC made a bigger difference than the trans. The trans was just beefed up to handle future mods that will probably push me close to 600 rwhp.

Yes the headers and tune made a big difference, as did the converter. The TQ really made my truck more fun to drive from a standing start. Although a custom HF tune definitely helps alleviate some of the annoying trans programming.

Everything else was relatively minor on non-existent in terms of SOTP feel.
