sean said there was. It does feel like it shifts a little quicker than the canned dsp tune, but not as quick as the SC.

So that would make me think that if you could get the power of the custom tune combined with the shifts of the sc you would have the best of both tuners. Have you thought about trying to stack them?

I have thought of it, but I have heard mixed results when stacking the dsp and sc unlike the sct sc stack. Plus, since my wife got a durango, the sc might go into it.

Ideally if sc would offer custom tuning like diablo's cmr tuning with the sc trans control, that would be the combo to have.

That is true, haven't heard as much about the dsp/sc stack as the sct/sc stack. It would be pretty cool to see how your times with a stack would compare to the other setups you tested.

I might try it, but I am worried about something locking up like the PCM and my truck not running right, then having to deal with the dealership to reflash my PCM and pay to get the SC and DSP unlocked.

I am going to try. The key was the weather (I think). Prior to this all of my runs were in the hot weather except for the one when it was 80 and humid, but that run sucked bc I was dumb and tried to run in 2wd.

I guess I should have said humidity. That is the killer, at least for me.

It runs alright during the summer specially during a dry heat, but from july to about november its crap cause of the heat combined with the humidity. My truck has always ran the best during the winter though, I get the worst mileage during the winter but the best times. Guess its a fair trade off.

Also anytime it hits over 115* out it usually runs like crap too. It just can't take it when its that hot out.

I ran ok times in 100 degree weather at the dirt track, one tenth to two tenths off normaly time. Thats with low hum, when it was high i was half a sec off atleast, the DA is awful with hum.
