02 ram 3500

Bought a 02 dodge ram 3500, put some work into it new turbo, radiator, etc... apparently I didn't notice how rusted out the frame is and it's horrible especially living in Michigan (potholes, Salt, weather) just curious what I should do because the motor only has 160k on it plus all the work I've put into It... I'm not sure the cost on buying a frame or putting this motor in something else or what... looking for ideas

How is the rest of the truck (body etc)? If it's in bad shape as well you might be better off finding a truck with a blown motor and just swapping that over?
Have no idea on cost but do know that the older trucks are getting harder to come by in decent shape given the age so it may be a challenge either way.

The rest of the body aside from the bed is in good shape, thought about buying a different truck and swapping it also for that reason. I may just buy another one with a better frame

You my friend have a 2nd gen (changeover for 1500's was 2002, 25/3500's was 2003).

How bad is the frame ? you should get some pics if you can any holes? I would scrape it clean it up possibly weld in some metal coat it and call it a day most frames can be fixed people sometimes write off frames to easy when they see minor rot/rust really depends how bad.
