Just bought my Ram in January. I am putting on a set of BBK inch and three-quarter headers. Passenger side went on no problem. The drivers side I have lifted the engine, dropped the steering shaft, then I see because of the thickness of the headers the oil dipstick will not fit. BBK website says that the mild hybrid model will fit.
Tried to find a flexible tube or a alternative tube to the OEM one and nothing is popping. Has anyone run into this? What's the workaround?

2019 Ram 5.7 mild hybrid

thanks

Lokar builds a flexible dipstick for the Hemi's. No point in torquing them tight,as good chance you'll be pulling them off in a month or 2 when they crack :Big Laugh: You didn't do much research if you bought BBK shorties as they have about the worst rep of all the header manufacture's.

A slight bend on the dipstick tube , and I was able to reconnect it with all the factory mount locations.
The bend was a few inches from where it entered the block.
This was with long tubes also.

while not exactly relevant to the op, last week i saw and touched a brand new Stainless Works exhaust system. long tube headers catless and x pipe 3" all the way back with the regular (i think legend series?) mufflers for a suburban/yukon with the 6.2

my god those things are really art works. absolutely beautiful, beautiful tig welds, perfect fitment, everything

took about 2.5 or 3 months to receive to Canada
i dont know the exact price but was over or around 6k cdn monopoly monies once everything said and done

sounds insane as expected, very loud haha

would recommend to anyone looking for the absolute best!

Agreed. As I've said a million times Chinese junk don't waste your time or money.
