$100 Apple CarPlay Aftermarket Stereo

Hello,

I was looking through the forum trying to find a stereo with Apple CarPlay for my 2020 Classic. It seemed that there weren’t very many options. I found this plug and play unit on the ebay and it worked out. Definitely not the best stereo but it has CarPlay and works with the OME backup camera. The instructions were not helpful but I found a couple videos on YouTube and it worked out. I also used the backup camera that came with the stereo and mounted it in the front, so that’s cool. It’s still mirrored so I’ll have to fix that. I’ve only had it for a few days so I’m not sure of all the settings but it doesn’t have lights for the controls (there has to be a setting I can change). Either way, better than that little BS stereo I had, and for the price, totally worth it.

Update:

There is a setting I think it was AVI mirror, I changed that and now the front camera is good to go. Do not cut the white wire on the camera itself, that shows the parking lines. Ask me how I know lol.

I don’t know for sure, but if this stereo fits it should work in your truck.

Keep us updated probably going to get one myself if it holds up more then a few weeks i hate my stock radio.

he has a few of the same radio just click the sellers profile and select the one that fits your year ect I just ordered one for my 2014

I recently installed a $140 Junsun brand radio in my '16. Main reason was to get CarPlay. There are tons of different ones available pending what the factory style is.
