It would outrun most Hellcats in the 1/8th and if they weren't on the ball on the tree,it would still be ahead of them through the top end of the 1/4 mile. With 3.21 gears it was good for 155mph,with 3.55's it dropped down to 150mph,and i hung around with the local Challenger/Charger car club so it seen alot of runs over 140 mph, just to prove the truck would keep up.It was a bit of a sleeper,as nobody ever expects a Ram to be quick, lol. It started life as a 4X4,but by the time it had a couple thousand miles on it,it'd lost the front diff/cv's and driveshaft, and was basically a 2X4 with a transfer case and a good driveshaft. It had every option you could get on a regular cab in 14,and had more options then 90% of R/T's had in 14.
Beautiful truck Rick, did you get rid of it or do you still have it?
Me likey!!

Sold it about 6 months ago.A girl had been bugging me to sell it her for a couple years, ever since she seen it beating up on Hellcats at the local track, she finally told me to put a price on it,i thought i'd priced it high enough she wouldn't be interested, but she said sold, and showed up a couple hours later with a certified bank draft, lol. I made a fair bit of money on it,as i sold it for a little over $10,000 more then i had into it,including the original purchase price, and i'd beat the living hell out of it for over 10 years drag racing/and street racing it ;)

Thanks Jay, I agree, and it's gonna be hard to see her drive off.
I joined here right after I got it, ~2015, she really has been a completely trouble free truck too. :(

Ya, we're ok--we are east of Austin about 10-15 miles. Thanks for checking
Jay
Figured as much, as I know where U R located, but Travis and Burnet and Williamson did get hit, with the San Saba going crazy. I saw in the news Lake Travis like 87% full. Gotta be a record. It not help half of that area draw off of that one water source, no planning whatsoever.

I love the way you think. lol
tbh, I'm really feeling the attraction to another reg cab, plain ol' normal pick up, used of course.
I wish I were Jay Leno with endless amounts of space to store cars, that'd be a different case, but I ain't and I only have room for 4 in my garages.

BOIRD SUGGESTIONS:

Build addition to garage??? Get one of them overhead arcs and pour a pad and put over?
If I had a pretty ride I put a lot of work and sweat into and luved it and PPL luved it, oh it would be there.
I really wanted to get a 2021 LT 1 Camaro, 6 speed, 6.2L, but alas, for me makes no sense. Pretty car, get me in trouble and only hold like 2 shopping bags, lmao, the now 7 years old RAM suffices. (But one can dream and drool, roflmao).
(Wish Stellantis put out a new HEMI no MDS, NO E JUNK, and rework the upper engine oiling, I'd be in line to buy, lol).

ADDED: I got the same problem: 2 1/2 pole barn garage. Left Bay, hay and other stuff. Middle bay contains trailer and back work benches. Right side 1/2 size, has other things, MC, benches etc. IF I see a need to put the RAM in to protect say from weather, have to pull the trailer (14' X 5' stock), out and setup under tree, so can put in truck. But I only got inches between front and back for friggin over 19' truck to fit. I feel yer pain, not mind suggesting options to SPEND yer money, hee hee. :33::angels25::anitoof:

Not allowed in my neighborhood, against HOA.
But hey, thanks for making me really reconsider getting rid of my truck now, it's bad enough strangers drool and ask me about it whenever I drive it, but now you go and stroke my ego and plant even more doubt and make it worse! Damn you Boird, this is hard enough already!
"Hmm, maybe getting some of those helper bags isn't such a bad idea after all?" lol

Did not mean any impetus in the negative ref yer RCSB but I am not known for bs just tell it like it is.

Friggin HOA; after all dem years in military housing dat chit would not happen again ever again. .

Me and ex looked at a chitload of houses when PCS back to states. Have 13’ German 6 piece shrank did not wanna break up. I finally found a house with long enuf wall space to keep unit intact. It not the cheap pressed wood junk but fully solid. Whole unit shy of 2000 lbs.

Looks great, not many of us lowered truck lovers here though.
In fact, after 10 years of trouble and maintenance free driving, mines about to go up for sale because it is lowered and I couldn't bear to raise it at this point.

Man, that is badass! I had a black Dakota at one point, warmed up 4.7 motor and 5-speed, dropped 4”, 15x7 black NASCAR style wheels, exhaust out the side just behind the cab, big sway bars, stiffer springs front and rear, front air dam and a “NASCAR spec” blade spoiler. Fast as &/+£ and would hang a corner like you wouldn’t believe. Should have never sold it. Adulting sux.
That looks like a nice truck, can I see the rest?

I really like the look, and way easier to get in , out.
BTW my first lowered was my 1947 way back when.
