Y'all relax lol. They've been posted less than a week and to be honest in this situation my price point would have probably been at or above his. Buying at OEM price sucks and given that they're brand new, I can't knock the guy for wanting to recoup what he spent. I would have tried to return them to get all of my money back instead of trying to pay it forward with you guys here and hook someone else up with a product at a discount; so he's a better man than me on that issue. This isn't Craigslist where buyers come in and offer 50% of retail value just trying to lowball people; people here know what this **** is worth and *hopefully* recognize that they wouldn't want people ******** on them in return. His price is reasonable for what he's selling.
It's his item, let him list it where he needs to. If he doesn't accept your offer then he didn't see it as reasonable; no harm no foul. You can definitely find cheaper units that are either not OEM quality, or used/damaged OEM units...and if he waits it out then he will definitely find a buyer willing to pay his price for a brand new set and save some coin.
