Hi Guys,

I've been lurking around for a long time, but haven't posted much.
I see lots of plasti dip threads, so I thought I'd share my truck so you guys can get some ideas on what can be done with plasti dip.

Winter look:

I did the same thing to my wheels when I first got my truck minus the copper, just left the spokes chrome! Great minds think alike ;) Looks like you went plastidip crazy.....you definitely can't beat the price of plastidip and I think your truck looks badass man! Looks like you're a pro especially with the two tone emblems. I know that wasn't easy.

Really nice!!! I'd have made the tailgate emblem black with the Ram head copper but overall great look you have!

Looks good man. The copper really accents the black trim and white truck

Obviously I don't know much about this plasti dip, but it appears that it could possibly peal off pretty easy? Is this stuff more durable then I think? One of the photos in this thread shows plasti dip being peeled off from the hood of a car? What happens when you wash your truck or scrub little bit too hard where plasti dip has been applied?

I'm sure my ignorance is shining through, am I just being a knucklehead and this stuff works fantastic?

What kind of space alien technology are we dealing with here?

It is more durable then you think. Go to you tube and watch videos on it. You will be surprised. The only time it will peel when washing is if there is already a tear or the coats are to thin

Plasti dip is quite durable. You have to use enough coats. The more, the better.

I did my emblems and front grille slats in the fall and they were in perfect condition in the spring. That helped me make my decision to do more.

Having said that, it's not like a bed liner. You wouldn't be able to drive through the bush with it. Sharp objects would rip it. For day to day use on trim pieces, it's more than durable enough.

You can hit it with a power washer too and it will stay on.
