14.2 @ 98 MPH

Is what I ran on an empty (sorta) HWY. Only the third time in a year Ive felt confident / careless enough to hammer on it while timing with my DS Trinity.

Stopped in middle of HWY, set it to motion start, Hammered it ( very slight chirping, no peeling out), and around the top of 3rd or something I seen a car coming my way, and at this point im doing 90+ MPH, so Im thinking if its a cop Im already busted, so I hesistated ever so slightly, but kinda kept on it. Ran 14.2 @ 98 MPH.

Wasn't a cop, got lucky, as Ive been ticketed on this very HWY before.

Now, had I not hesitated, I MAY have hit 13.99, But I dunno.

Truck did feel strong! It was 21 deg C (71 ish F), I think the mercury was 27.55 hg if I remember my tuner reading correctly.

ALSO, ran a 0-60 about a coupla weeks ago, 5.1s. Definite room for improvement there as well.

My previous #'s, with same mods about 9 months earlier were like 15.2. But I babied those runs.

I wanna try again when Im courageous enough to moan and groan the drivetrain, hit that magic 13.XX #!

Now the ET isn't all that impressive, but for a 14.2 the MPH are great! At least I think so, truck does pull HARD up top. 98 mph Is usually a 13 sec indicator, not?

1/4 miles on the trinity are pretty useless - take it to the track and post some slips

I realize that, but it was there on the open HWY. The track isn't as user friendly, I think we get 1 night a week to use it (Friday nights).

And the "test" was Saturday morning.

im just buggin ya man - I find it pretty good to compare before and afters when doing mods. But unless im at the track the most ill do is 0-60 getting on the hwy.

Agreed. I'm really picky on where I do my runs at. A ticket for a commercial truck driver is a nightmare. Even when it's in your personal vehicle

Have an Edge 2800 on my '12 with no issue's, not sure who all is having problems with there TC's but I drive mine pretty hard and she's still running strong.
