Can any one confirm this ?

Cluster mileage keeps accumulating. It will not match up with pcm mileage just by plugging it in.

Now your not making sense. If you plug in the cluster and it accumulates mileage, how will it ever "catch up" to whats already on the truck. Assuming you truck has lower mileage than the cluster bought.

I believe he's saying that the mileage is accumulated or totaled in the cluster as well as the PCM and the cluster won't change to the mileage on the PCM just because we put it in a new truck.

Ok lemme put this simple seeing as no one gets it....

Let's say yiur truck has 1000 miles on the odometer. Buy a cluster with 1500 on it,

You'll need to drive 500 miles so that old and new cluster agree on mileage. Then swap....

So, I have to wait until the mileage on my truck is the exact same as the mileage on the cluster I get before I swap them...is that what I'm reading?

I found a premium cluster on eBay last week and now I wait. Hate waiting for shipping. So hears what I found out about the cluster I bought, it is brand new with zero miles. I have some buddies that work at the local dodge dealership that can hopefully work the computer to get my mileage on the new cluster. Fingers crossed

Someone's gotta be a guinea pig. I say go for it if you don't mind spending the cash on something not guaranteed

Yes if you want the cluster to be correct and not have to report odometer variation on a title transfer.

I found a canadian one ( which is the one I need ) and it has 23 000 km and my truck have only 12000 . So bad I don't want to wait 10 000 km to install it. I thought my dealer can help me on this but they can't do anything about this.

If I understanded , the only way to swap the cluster correctly is to buy a cluster with more millage than our truck, and wait until the milage match to do the swap ?

What's happen if I buy a cluster with less millage ? So there is no way to " upgrade " the millage ?

Correct. Or none of the dealers have figured out how to yet... I was told an outside company is the one who programs them.
