14x3 air filter recommendation

So I know a few people have these on the magnum motors, Al for sure. can anyone recommend me a filter/have a part number?

and for those who have them installed, can you give me a quick rundown of how it gets installed? isnt it just a s shaped bolt or some sort?

Yeah, I ran one on my 96...I ran an Edelbrock air cleaner with a K&N filter, you will need to get you a short piece of all thread and fab you up an S bolt...I'll have to look around and see what I can find, as it's been over a year since I installed mine and don't know the specifics off the top of my head.

Ok, heres what you need...

14x3 air cleaner
1/2 inch air cleaner spacer
1/4" all thread (about 2 feet of it, just in case)
an oil school breather, get one with a 1 1/4 inch end (you dont need this, as you can get an elbow to run the breather hose to the bottom of the air cleaner)



for the S bolt, you will wanna cut you about an 8" piece of the all thread and bend it 3/4 of an inch on center.

Did you notice anything different with power or mpg befor and after the 14x3?

You will lose a little bottom end torque, where you really gain in mid throttle acceleration.
