Anyways truck is an abortion in the fuel mileage department so I figured I should check out the the throttle body and see if it is crudded up. After 250 000 kms or 155k miles it was 100% flawless. Pure fresh as the factory. I even held the blade open with my finger and felt the inside of the intake manifold and also found that it was perfectly dry as well, maybe I just have a weird ass truck.

High elevation, fresh air and of course good maintenance!

Bump. And I though my last thread (on like page 5 by now) died quickly...LOL..Brett.
Anyhow, I first checked mine at about 210 K Km and it was real clean even though I had been running an Oiled K&N for 2 years and because I read on the Forums that alot of these where dirty (Mainly a 4.7 problem I think) so I took a boo when my cracked 03 Hat to Oil cap tiny hose was cracked up ($28). My comment above is just what I meant, when I said "Good maintenance" including keeping the air-filter in good order goes a long way and a minging TB should not happen.

Yeah I had to clean out that little hose that goes from the oil fill to the hemi hat. That was about it. And I finally officially hit 250 000 km on my way to work this morning.
