I have a 90 W150 club cab 4x4 and would like to see about putting new W250 springs and shocks under it with 285 75 15 AT's. I'm hoping that this will be a bolt in project. The reason why I am doing this is I think it will look more like a 4x4 than the current hight. Any suggestions or thoughts?

what sized tires do you got on it currently. i think you might be able to fit the 285/75/15 with the stock suspension. i think they might be about the limit you can get away with without rubbing. if you do want to lift it you may want to choose how much you want to lift it and just get a kit to lift it. lift springs are the better way to go than just sticking a heavier set of springs in the truck. you really don't know what you would get sticking heavier springs in it. you might only get 1" lift from all that money spent where if you get a proper lift kit you are almost guaranteed to get the amount of lift you paid for. it is pretty much a bolt in thing otherwise.

It has 235's on it now, it just sits like a 2 wheel drive truck.

i still think you might be able to fit those tires on stock suspension since they are about 32x11.5. there is only about a 1.5" per side difference which is really not that much. i am pretty sure most 2wd trucks can clear 31's.
