Nice!

Yea I just called dealership, he pretty much said lifting isn’t gonna go much if I plan to stay stock rims. Stock rims he said without rubbing could only maybe go 1/4” wider...

If I had to get new rims then I could probably get away with new rims and wheels instead of lifting then.

They just called back after doing some more research.

They won’t do 305 tires on my 20x9 wheel.

295/65 should be good on current rim or maybe 35/1150 tops that would really be pushing it he said..not sure if I’d have to get a lift if I did that..

-12 offset would bring it out 3/8”, -24 or -25 would be 1/2” out further giving me more of the look I’m after; but of course I’d have to get new rims if I was after that along with a lift orobably.. Maybe 295/65 wouldn’t be that bad..

They make replicas of the wheels you have with the offset you want. (If you're looking to stay the same)
There are plenty of members on here that did wheels and trimmed where it rubbed, then eventually went with bilsteins or similar level

Measure how much your tire needs to move out and post that.

No -12 mm offset on a 20x9 wheel would push the wheels 1.25” out further then your stock wheels

I think he was referring to new rims with that offset, not the tires. He was trynna tell me I’ll prob have to get new rims for the look I’m after.

Just a picture for reference, here is my truck with bilsteins at 2.1 and 295/60/20 tires. For me they are a great size for just leveling. 295/65/20 would look rather stuffed.

That’s what I’m saying. Your wheels have a +19mm offset, a 20x9 with -12mm offset is a difference of 1.25”

And I agree to get the look you are after you will need new wheels or wheels spacers

Love those aggressive tires. Yea I can see them being stuffed..

Oh, he told me there’s no offset on stock wheels it was 0, but guess there’s positive offset to bring it inward?

Not gonna do spacers due to the downsides. Sheesh just when I thought I was getting somewhere hah, so seems like it’s gonna need to be: lift, rims, tires. Wow that won’t be cheap.. Could prob get away with selling my old rims or tires. Was hoping to do 2 out of the 3 things but seems like it’s almost gotta be all or nothing.

I would recommend you continue to solicit info from people that know....your dealer said your stock rims had no offset? Ummmm....they are +19mm. Thats a fact. Indisputable.
Stop in and window shop an aftermarket wheel/tire/offroad shop. They can show you visually the difference.

Yea he is wrong on saying the stock wheels are zero offset.

If you stick with 33” tall tires you could get wheels that stick out far enough to get the look you want without having to level

Here are pics of a tuck I found with 20x9 wheels with +1mm offset and 33x12.5x20 aggressive tires. I think this might be the look you are going for with the tires lining up with the fender flares.

What tires are you running in that pic?

Sweet website, I'll have to check out tire size.com

Yes that is somewhat there, you can see in my sig the flares not looking for anything crazy but enough to bring it out.

Guess I gotta do a lot more research this is way more in depth than I honestly thought.

Oh, and correct me if I'm wrong...but doesn't lifting or bigger tires require speedometer adjustment?...

I’m running 5100’s set @ 2.8 with 295/60R20 on 20x10 rims with a -25 offset. The tire stick out exactly 2” from the fender which is perfect for the fender flares I bought.

Same fender flares I think! Yea, so that's seeming like the specs I need. That sucks to need new rims for 1"... No rub?
