Hmm. So upon further thought I’m thinkin of passing on the lift and rims for now and maybe just replacing the tires (prob dumb thing to do with summer approaching but the OEM wheels slide in rain anyway).

Pretty much in love with Falken: Wildpeak A/T3W tires.

Custom Offsets shows many setups with 305/55.

I was told from the dealer that 305/60/20 wouldn’t work but maybe that’s because my stock is 275/60/20 and they don’t want to change the aspect ratio number? (Not sure the pros or cons to changing aspect ratio or if I could even do that on OEM rims).

If 305/60/20 wont work, I’m wondering if 305/55/20 will work with stock rims and lift.

He also mentioned 35/11.50/20, but can’t find the tires I want in that size. Found them in 35/12.50/20, but that might be too big.

So as of now I think main goal is to skip the lift and rim replacement and just get the biggest/widest tires possible for OEM rims and lift with NO rub.

There is a chance that 305’s or a 12.5” wide tire will rub on the upper control arm. I say a Chance because not all truck have the issue but more often than not it rubs. A 1/4” spacer will fix that or a thinner tire

Hmm I’m gonna go to tire place sometime this week have them size everything up see what’s the biggest I could put on (wish they could just throw one on to see how it fits but not sure if they can do that). I guess if I can’t do 305s and I don’t want new rims I’ll go the lift route for the clearance and go as wide as possible on the tires.

Not sure what PSI 305’s take, but how would the TPMS be adjusted both physically and in the infotainment cluster?

Also any speedometer/odometer adjustments needed, if so, how?

If you decide on 305 tire, you absolutely will not want the 60 sidewall. That is going to make the tire taller around a true 35”. It will look super stuffed in there. If you are thinking 305 it has to be a 55 sidewall, which is 33.2, a tad(.2) taller, waaaay wider than stock.
In my opinion, without leveling it, new wheels and no wheel spacers, your 2 best options are:
295/60/20 (33.9”x11.6”W)
305/55/20 (33.2”x12”W)
Either will fit and look great. If you did level it both would still look great. The 305 w/o level may rub, like mine does. A 1/4” hub centric spacer would solve that most likely and isnt a horrible method. I personally may do this, but for me, I would never install a 1.75” or 2” spacer, but that is my opinion.
I will say if you installed Bilsteins at even at 1.4, it would improve your onroad performsnce and look fantastic by lessening the front rake a bit, 2.1 woukd be better though.
Just my thoughts...

Thanks!! 305/55 is seeming like a decent option so curious if it’ll rub on mine. If it does I’ll just have to do 2” lift and then go with 305/60 at that point.

Also meant to ask what about the spare tire, you guys remove it since it wouldn’t match the others as far as tire pressure goes or just keep it there?

If you are rubbing with a 305 a 2” lift isn’t going to fix that, you will need a 1/4” wheel spacer

Looks like OEM tires go for $136 per new with 50k mile warranty, so maybe I could get $400 considering like no wear and only 3k miles on em [emoji51]

I'm running 305/55/20 on stock rims. Stock height and no rubbing at all. ff0b3b4d6f29b710561e789e04133597.jpg854ca52abd898c1f7b6fa106cd3452b6.jpg

Beautiful!!!!!! That a 2018?? What typa tires?

Looks badass stock that’s what I’m hoping for, that’s the best stock stance I’ve seen, me with the fender flares won’t look as good as you cuz they stick out behind the sides and mine would still be inside a bit but hopefully fill up a bit more. As long as it doesn’t hit plastic or control arm I’d settle with that for sure.

16 sport. Tires are Amp A/T pro (KO2 knock offs). They're half the price of BFG's but granted not the quality.

My truck has 4 corner air, not that it should matter but maybe...

I got these tires for a grand (candian) so i can't complain. KO2's would've been at least another $800. I do like the falkens aswell.

It really is a crapshoot. Just like Sled Freak’s and mine, same size tires, his no rub, but on mine I have the slight rub. Either way Im pretty confident your not going to end up with any SIGNIFICANT rub. You had said earlier that your dealer wouldnt install 305’s on your stock rims? Just go somewhere else, they will fit fine. My tire doesnt bulge out and neither does Sled’s. Members put 35x12.5 on their oem wheels all the time. Same width.

2016 2.5” RC level with 1” rear spacers and RC upper control arms. 35x12.5R20 General Grabber ATX with stock sport 20x9s and 1/4” steel front spacers. Rubs slightly on the sway bar at full lock. Stock 3:21 gears with Hemi and a pedal commander. Love it!

Just a note but if you get let's say a Bora spacer for 2" there isn't a down side if installed properly which rarely happens .you'll break a half ton before a good spacer. Food for thought.

At tire shop getting Falken 305/55 sized up! If they fit I’d prob pull the trigger right now on em. Will update later! Almost $40 more per tire than I saw on Amazon for example, but it’ll include free tire rotations for life of tires and nitrogen fills so that alone makes it worth it to me get em rotated every 3k or 5k miles if they do. And me only doing 3-7k miles a year this’ll last a nice looooong time so makes sense to get em now instead of wait a decade to need new ones hah.

So a customer apparently got this set put on and did “100 miles” on em then next day came back cuz it was killing his MPG in a 2500, so put smaller tires on. They willing to save me $300 on this used set. If that stories true, makes sense to me, the tread looked perfect and brand new and claim no damage to em, just dirty of course so we’ll see if these fit.
