Hey guys first time poster, I have an 02 1500 4.7L, having an issue with the Map sensor bolt brass inserts. I've turned each screw at least 10-15 full revolutions and they aren't backing out. If I look closely it seems like the inserts are spinning at least on one side and I'm guessing it's happening on the other. Any advice?

I'm thinking to try and pry the senor and the bolts/inserts out all at once if possible but I thought I'd check on here first to see if anyone has any tricks so I don't break anything and create a bigger issue. I saw on another website someone recommended jb weld the inserts back in if I can save them. I'm afraid if I pry too hard I will break something.

Thank you for any ideas or tips!!!

Thank you for the reply. Will keep you posted if I need to go down that route with a new intake manifold.

Currently the map sensor/bolts/inserts are still in there. Any tips on how to remove the entire assembly out without breaking the manifold? And with the jb weld did you sand the opening or inserts at all before applying? Did the jb weld hold after using it for some time?

Thank you!!!

since they currently spin just prying on it lightly it should pop out you will however destroy the map sensor. I just put small dabs around it and pushed the inserts back in and then quickly re installed everything before it dried use a good MAP sensor because the next time it goes bad you probably are not getting the screws out lol.
