I have an 02 3.7 with 110k on it that's losing about 1qt / 400-500 miles. This thing doesn't puff an ounce of smoke at any point of its operation. I've also ruled out any leaks, my driveway remains spotless.
I noticed tonight that oil is making its way back to the tailpipe, I know its not carbon as it's slick and smells of burnt motor oil.
Engine runs smooth as silk at idle and high rpm, haven't noticed any spark knock either.
I was hoping that someone familiar with the 3.7 could tell me if this engine has suffered from the same intake gasket failures as its big brothers.
p.s there appears to be no blow-by escaping the fill tube with the cap off.
