2002 5.9L 46RE transmission swap

Hey all, I have the 46RE transmission in my 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.9L V8 in it. I'm not having major problems with it yet, however I know the 46re can be a problem child. What other transmission would be compatible with my truck or would I be better off getting a rebuilt 46re?
