2003 4X4 Off Road

My 2003 1500 is a 4X4 Off Road edition and I was wondering can anyone tell me what the difference of that and a regular 4X4 ? I always thought 4X4 was all the same so any help is appreciated .

I believe they are the same thing, other then gearing in the diffs might be diffrent and a bit lifted then normal ones are and a fancy sticker lol

Skid plates are gonna be the biggest difference. Your off-road edition MIGHT have more skid plates then a regular 4x4. gearing, maybe, lift maybe, infact I highly doubt its even lifted. I would say skid plates and you probably don't have an open diff. It might be limited slip.

Probably have front tow hooks. Seems like most around me don't have them.
