My 2003 Hemi doesn't seem to have the power it should (to me anyway). It won't break the tires loose from a stop. Not that I need it to, but it makes me wonder if there is something wrong.

I honestly have no idea. I've never timed it. Lol.
Try timing it it could just be because it’s an older higher mileage truck that you think it’s slow

That's why it won't. 3.55's are horrible mated to this transmission, they go alot better with the newer 8 speeds. My truck came with 3.92's, with the stock tires it was all the time; with better tires it was more 50/50. With 4.56's it's almost at will lol.

Ill have to try that. it is older, and it does have 161,000 miles. Could just be getting worn out, I guess.

Interesting. I've thought about going to 4.10 gears, but the 3.55 is good for gas mileage on the highway. Plus, mine is 4x4, so I'd have to do the front gears also.

Wanna play, ya gotta pay lol....why worried about being able to do a burn out? Lack of traction is a waste of energy.

Totally agree. Lol. I don't really want to do burn outs, I just noticed that the truck wouldn't.
