Yep, 2003 HD is a rare bird. 2003 was a weird year. Last year for the 360, first year for the hemi, first year the HD's caught up with the 1500's platform wise and the last year you could still get that giant 8L gas hog and the first and only year you could get in a 3rd gen lol. Always said if I stumbled across one with 4x4 I'd probably buy it.

That is rhe truck I want. Unfortunately I had to pass on 2 as I bought the 2015 392...which is real close to the V10.

I have a 99 with V10 and 5 speed. I would so love the 2003 with 488 Magnum and 6 speed.

Stock for the year it was more powerful than the Cummins and was limited by the transmission.

I can only imagine what they could do with it now with the high torque transmissions.

Mine gets 10mpg on the same use schedule as the 392 which gets 12. They both get between 9 to 11 towing my travel trailer.

And on the highway the V10 could pull 16 to 18 depending how long you stay around 65-70.

Now I want to search again...but they are so rusted around here.
